Of course one of the memorable things about the late 80's/early 90's was the "Carlton Dance." Nowadays it is rarely brought out, and when so by drunken college girls is a poor site to see.
Nevertheless I think the dance is an important staple of our generation and must be retained by any means necessary. The dance is not just fling your arms side to side while snapping at the apex of each swing, but your facial expression, head bobbing motion, and leg movement all play an important role in the proper execution. The song we remember the Carlton Dance being performed to is Tom Jones's hit song "It's not Unusual." I feel I must be a purist here and to go out on a limb, claim that the dance should ONLY be performed during 80's such as this. While the dance may seem inviting while clubbin' it to the latest Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boyz song, please reserve it for the classics.
Remember, Carlton was in no way one of the Kings of Crunk.
